Products Description
PFA (Polytetrafluoro ethylene), also known as soluble PTFE, is a copolymer of a small amount of perfluoropropyl perfluorovinyl ether and polytetrafluoroethylene.
Main Performance of PFA
While retaining most advantages of PTFE, PFA can be hot-melt processed due to the decrease of crystallinity, melting point and melt viscosity.
Comparing to FEP, PFA is superior in terms of high temperature resistance and stress crack resistance. Comparing to PTFE, PFA has excellent folding resistance, and a superior mechanical strength at high temperature than PTFE.
PFA has high and low temperature resistance, long-term use temperature is within -200 ° C ~ 260 ° C. It has excellent corrosion resistance to all chemicals. Moreover, its friction coefficient is low.
PFA has good electrical properties. Its electrical insulation is not affected by temperature; its dielectric properties are good; and its radiation resistance is excellent. In addition, the flame retardancy reaches V0 level.
Our PFA Tube is made of imported PFA resin, which has excellent chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, fine crack resistance, and good transparency. In comparison to other fluoropolymer tubes, PFA has higher polymerization purity and continuous working temperature. It is ideal for critical low-voltage applications.
